Our mission.

To transform wellness access for Black and Brown women by bridging the gap in culturally relevant wellness experiences.

By making space, we’re challenging what’s often been an uncomfortable and isolating experience for many across mainstream wellness environments.

our mission is three-dimensional:

Reclaim Wellness: We’re reconnecting with our roots and reclaiming our ancestral and somatic practices that have been commodified by our current wellness industry. With this mission in mind, we’re creating a platform for practitioners of colour to provide culturally relevant and inclusive programming to an audience that both reflects who they are and truly sees them. It’s important to us that they have the opportunity to work in an environment that recognises their unique value and worth, a recognition historically denied in conventional wellness spaces.

Democratising Access: Our approach to democratising access involves a flexible and inclusive pricing model. Our 'pay what you can' approach on select programming is specifically designed to eliminate financial barriers and cultivate a sense of belonging and community for all, particularly for those usually marginalised by traditional wellness pricing structures.

Build Community: Our focus is on supporting Black and Brown women, who often carry the weight of their communities and families, often at the expense of their own well-being. Bridged provides a safe space where these women can share their struggles, find a sense of belonging, and receive unwavering support. By fostering collective identity and connection, we’re ensuring that our community members truly see and value one another. We’re passionate about our community feeling supported and not isolated in their experiences.

Wellness stands for liberation, visibility, and belonging—far more than just a yoga class. Our goal is to profoundly influence how wellness is perceived and implemented within our community. We strive to create a supportive environment where our community feels empowered to achieve holistic health and well-being.

Our physical space is a tangible step in our mission to drive systemic change that supports equitable wellness access for all.
